It's Almost Time in COAL VALLEY.

It’s beginning to smell a lot like hot dogs...

Coal Valley Bun Works is almost open. We actually SEE the end of the tunnel. The transformation of the former Family Pet Practice is unbelievable. Kevin’s been busy cranking Christmas music on the speakers while he rounds the corner to completion. If you’ve walked by recently,
you’ve seen visual proof of all the work that’s been going on.
We start this place with three things: pepperoni rolls, hot dogs, and a very particular kind of love for West Virginia and Appalachia. The kind you learn in a church kitchen or a volunteer fire hall, maybe standing next to someone’s grandma who doesn't use recipes but somehow everything comes out perfect anyway. (You know the one.)
We’ve got no interest in reinventing the wheel. We're making the food we grew up eating—done right, served fast, handed over with some real eye contact (and probably a bad joke) if you're lucky. Every detail of every dog has been thought out. And the pepperoni rolls? No shortcuts. Ours are golden brown, a little greasy, pretty pepperoni-y, and exactly what you’re supposed to eat standing outside a high school football game or snuggled up on your couch. Wait to you see how they are prepared. These pepperoni rolls are, well, mind blowing. They may ruin your relationship with other pepperoni rolls.
We’re not a diner. We’re not a chain. We’re definitely not fancy. We're a little hot dog shop whose goal is to blow your mind. The menu’s tight on purpose. So we can focus. So it’s good. So you don’t stand around forever trying to decide. You’ll probably just end up ordering both anyway.
We’re almost ready. Grand Opening? Carrie’s in charge of that part so yeah, there will be signs.
See you soon, Coal Valley. You’ve waited long enough.

FARRRRR-OUT can’t wait
Will you be saling your Hot Dog Sauce separate like in a pint cup or something
